The BASENJI RESCUE list is a list primarily for persons who have applied to adopt a rescue basenji through Basenji Rescue & Transport, Inc. BRAT sends postings about all new basenji rescues to this list. This is an "announcement only" list where only the moderators can post. The following information applies to those of you who have submitted an adoption application with BRAT: We send information about all basenjis and mixes available through BRAT to this list. You should be receiving a message from a BRAT representative in your state within a few days after you submitted your application. If you don't receive an email from this local coordinator, or you just want to make contact with them on your own, you can email them through the BRAT webpage located at: http://www.basenjirescue.org/asp/ScreenersByState.asp Our coordinators try to reply to every inquiry about one of their dogs. However, please remember that BRAT is an "all volunteer" organization and most of our coordinators work full time and also have families and dogs to take care of during the evening. This is a large list and BRAT places a large number of dogs (more than 20 a month). We have no way to send you posts just about dogs in your area. Therefore, if you are not interested or able to adopt a particular dog posted to the list, please feel free to delete the post. Whatever you do, please do NOT reply to this list. Subscribing to Brat-rescue
Subscribe to Brat-rescue by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
